Children’s Ministry
WANTING TO GET INVOLVED? HERE'S HOW!
WHO: Kids between 2 years old - 6th grade.
WHAT: Class sessions include a time of worship and Bible study. We teach children biblical lessons using an age-appropriate curriculum.
Classrooms Options:
Nursery (0-1)
2 and 3 year old classroom
4 and 5 year old classroom
1st and 2nd grade classroom
3rd and 4th grade classroom
5th and 6th grade classrooms
*Depending on the service and availability of teachers, some age groups may be combined.
WHEN: We have classes available during our Sunday services: 9 am, 11 am, and 6 pm, and Wednesday services: 7 pm.
WHERE: Our children’s classes are located on the east side of the church facility.

WANTING TO SERVE?
HERE ARE WAYS YOU CAN SERVE:
TEACHERS: Teachers coordinate the classroom and take the children through the Bible lesson. They are responsible for keeping the children safe and orderly while maintaining a fun and uplifting atmosphere for teaching the Word of God.
TEACHER ASSISTANTS/YOUTH HELPERS: Teacher Assistants/Youth helpers are responsible for helping the teacher with whatever needs arise in the classroom.
CHILDREN'S WORSHIP: Our children's worship team lead the younger children (ages 2-2nd grade) in worshiping the Lord through song and dance. There are opportunities to lead the older children (3rd grade-6th) in worship. If you have any questions or would like to get involved, you may contact Rachel Loo at (562)335-1325 or click here.

Our teachers (above the age of 18) are given a thorough background check and are trained to effectively teach the children in the classroom. Teachers, teachers’ assistants, worship leaders, and coordinators work together to minister to the children and their parents by demonstrating the love of Jesus in their respective roles in their classrooms.
