Trail Life USA

GENERAL INFORMATION:

WHO: Boy K-12 and supported by volunteers at every level. Trail Life USA troops rely on parent/guardian participation. Fathers are highly encouraged to become registered adults and help lead their sons.

While women can serve in several roles in the organization, Trail Life USA is focused on turning boys into godly men. Our firm conviction is that this can only be done by allowing a boy the opportunity to be mentored by Christian men. All direct contact positions, other than the Woodlands Trail unit, are filled by men.

Single mothers, Trail Life USA, is an opportunity to have godly men help pour into your son. As a mother, you can become a registered adult and help support the troop. There are plenty of opportunities to help serve the troop by helping with fundraisers, events, and meetings.

Our troop expects parent/guardian involvement, attendance of meetings and events, and participation in troop fundraising.

WHAT: Our troop expects Trailmen to actively participate and attend meetings, events, and fundraisers. Trailmen are to learn The Trailman Oath and be able to recite it to earn their joining award. It is a great idea to have your Trailman begin to memorize the oath now as you go through the registration process.

WHEN:  Troop meetings are held on the 1st and 3rd Saturday of the month at Calvary Chapel Santa Fe Springs from 9:30 am-11:30 am. Hit the Trail events (which include hikes, day trips, and service projects) are held on the 2nd Saturday of the month. Any changes to our meeting location, times, and/or events will be updated on the troop calendar, and you will be notified.

WHERE: Meetings are at Calvary Chapel Santa Fe Springs in the Fellowship Hall.

HOW TO GET INVOLVED: By submitting a request to https://www.traillifeusa.com/find-a-troop/

PURPOSE:

Our firm conviction is that this can only be done by allowing a boy the opportunity to be mentored by Christian men.

VISION:

The vision is to minister and share the Word of God with the members of our church and community who are struggling with addiction, or those who are new to recovery or have been clean and sober for any period of time.
