VISION: We need to learn how to take care of the body God has blessed us with, that we may be able to use these bodies for His glory. We learn to walk/run and make healthier lifestyle choices. We run races from 5k to marathons and everything in between. Most importantly we use running as an illustration of how we are to walk with God, encouraging one another in all matters of our walk.

WHO:     All athletic skill levels are welcome, from gentle-walkers to experienced marathoners.

WHAT:    In this ministry, we encourage one another through walking/running and overall fitness. Our fellowship walk/runs begin with prayer and devotion, always keeping our focus on the Lord. We learn about running and nutritional fundamentals, then we enjoy a 30-60 minute run/walk. We close out with prayer, laughter, fellowship, stretching and more prayer.

WHEN:   Calvary Runners is currently on a break.

WHERE:   We meet in various tracks around the local area. Lake Center Athletic Field, Sheriff's Academy Track, Cerritos Park East or Wilderness Park.
